Come Fly with me

14 July 2022, 10:30 ( Add to calendar )

This year, we are on a mission to address the surprising lack of butterfly records across the Wychwood. With generous funding from the Trust for Oxfordshire’s Environment and the Thames Valley Environmental Records Centre, we are working in partnership with Butterfly Conservation to recruit and train volunteer butterfly recorders.

On Thursday 14th July, we will be running a butterfly walk at Honeydale Farm, the FarmEd regenerative farming demonstration site near Shipton-under-Wychwood. Meeting at 10.30 am for an 11am start, the event is free to all BC and WFT members and will include a tour of the farm and a demonstration of how to use the iRecord Butterflies smartphone app. There is ample parking and toilets on site at Honeydale, and a café for tea and coffee, but do bring a packed lunch if required. Booking essential. 10 places available. Walk Leader: Roger Newman Mob: 07749 712808
