Join us from 9:30am–4:30pm on 20th February 2021 to learn the rural craft of hedgelaying while creating habitats for birds, mammals and insects! Work with an experienced local hedgelayer to continue our hedgelaying project at Foxburrow wood and help this community wildlife hub flourish. No experience is necessary, and all tools and equipment will be provided. Tuition will include: tool use, preparing the hedge, laying, staking and binding. Bring gloves if you have them, plus stout boots and suitable clothes. Due to Covid-19 we're unable to provide group lunches or drinks so please bring your own. There will be a portable loo on site.
